I recently visited The Sunflower Cafe, and I can confidently say it deserves every bit of a 5-star rating! The selection of cakes is simply outstanding. I tried the Opera cake - it's absolutely awesome!! Coffee is also very good! Really recommend!
My friends strongly recommended the cakes to me before, but I just couldn’t bother to go to the end of the town every time. I am glad they opened the new beach terrace and the cakes are amazing! The staff are also very nice! Will definitely go visit often.
Lovely friendly place and good food - they have a selection of cakes which all look amazing, Esterhazy (praline & white choc) was nice. They are expensive for a small slice but taste great and look like a lot of work has gone into it so fair enough.
We popped in recently for coffee and cake, having read the excellent reviews on trip adviser. Small inside, but with bright and cheery decor. The staff were polite and friendly and service was very quick. There were no other customers at the time of our visit ! The cakes looked and tasted delicious. Clearly the many layered cakes were made with great skill and care. The coffee mugs were transparent, offering a view of the tiered layers of milk and coffee. Good value for the money and we would return and recommend. Just a point to note. There is no toilet available. The nearest one is a public toilet just along the road.
A brilliant find on our family of four's weekend visit. Lovely Cafe Crema and then after cheese scones and paninis (all homemade) we all chose a different cake (peach cheesecake, honey cake, Opéra cake and blackcurrant cake). The taste and quality of the food was exceptional and they looked beautiful. Just look at the peach cheesecake in the picture! We also had a friendly chat with Iryna (an engineer by training) who showed us how they make all the cakes. Cannot recommend enough.
Went to a beach hut, not shop like this one on here but it must be the same one as same name and cakes. Outdoor seating. Well presented staff. Lovely cake.
